Saratoga Springs

Saratoga Springs is a beautiful Northern New York town
Old Houses Old Money
and lotsa lotsa horses

As you may remember my beloved mum is a huge horse fanatic
and we went there for what is called the Yearling Sale
Where all of the top horses have bred and now their babies are for sale
in hopes that one day they will be the next Triple Crown Winner

It was so wonderful to get outta the "compound" and spend some quality time with her
We walked around a lot it's the cutest town
Went to the Mineral Baths which were just relaxing and amazing, much needed after seven weeks of camping
Shopped, ate, talked, chilled, just incredible

These are my favorite horses
Especially the black one
No name, just Number 13, he went for $210,000 and was worth every penny
So beautiful such a personality

My faborite moment:
We walked out of this store and bumbed right into
Edgar Prado who is Barbaro's jockey and was able to share her
very strong feelings about this horse and his recovery and how he "saved" Barbaro
He gave it right back to the horse, that he is really smart, and saved himself
for those who don't know, Barbaro is the horse that was expected to win the Preakness and hurt himself in the beginning of the race, it was a big big deal in the horse world! Anyway, meeting him for her is like meeting your favorite movie star, a dream come true!
